• AleaPlan obtains long term monthly forecast, up to 15 years ahead.
• The solution obtains different kind of forecasts:
  • Monthy demand.
  • Monthly maximum and minimum hour power.
  • Kind of demand: national, regional, by kind of consumer (domestic, industrial), peaks etc.
• Explanatory variables considered in the modelling process are related to: sectorial tendency, socioeconomic indicators, climatology and seasonal nature.
• The solution can be customised and adapted to your needs before the installation.
• Once forecasting models have been developed by AleaSoft specialists and included in AleaPlan, the solution works automatically.
  • The solution is automatically updated with relevant data.
  • An adaptive scheme updates the model parameters on a ongoing basis, so a user without statistical knowledge can operate the solution.
• AleaPlan includes functionalities to analyse the variability, useful for decision making:
  • Temperature and socioeconomic scenarios.
  • Confidence interval information, giving information about complementary forecasts to consider in the decision making.
  • Sensitivity analysis tools of the demand related to the temperature and economy evolution.
• The solution provides useful information to the user:
  • Visualisation of data involved in the forecasting, for a better undestanding of the process.
  • A report function provides information on the results of forecasts.
  • To monitor the impact of temperature forecasts upon the demand forecast, the solution allows to carry out projections over previous dates, with real and forecasted temperatures.
