• Data can be aggregated or disaggregated.
• Explanatory variables included in the models are related to: calendar, weather conditions, temperature thresholds and socio-economic evolution.
• Once forecasting models have been developed by AleaSoft specialists and included in AleaMid, the solution works automatically.
• The solution is automatically updated with demand and weather data.
• An adaptive scheme updates the model parameters on a ongoing basis, so a user without statistical knowledge can operate the solution.
• AleaMid includes functionalities to analyse forecast variability, useful for decision making:
  • Temperature and socioeconomic scenarios.
  • Confidence interval information, that give information about complementary forecasts to consider in the decision making.
